The stay at Vanja and Suzana's place was amazing. You could not ask for a better location from which to explore Dubrovnik's old city and the surrounding area. Their place is very quaint, unique, and comfortable. They were great hosts, highly responsive, friendly, and super helpful with restaurant recommendations and in arranging our early morning taxi ride to the airport. I highly recommend their place and look forward to staying there again.

If you're looking to stay in old city and want a unique experience then Vanja's place is a great option. There are some "quirks" with the space but it's also convenient to stay inside the wall and it was surprisingly quiet at night. Vanja was easy to coordinate with and the place was easy to find.

Casa Mia was a fantastic home-base for our family holiday in old town. The location is great - just steps from the heart of Old Town, but tucked away just enough on a side street to make it feel like an escape from the crowds and activity. It was so easy get to the main attractions in Old Town - usually less than 5 minutes to almost anywhere you want to go. Great restaurants and shops nearby. Plenty of space for our family of four. We were grateful for the easy access, close to the Pile gate and no stairs. Vanja has gone to great lengths to think about what guests may need, as the apartment is well appointed, clean and easy to access. The decor and history of the apartment also makes for a fun and inviting place to rest and recharge. Thanks for letting us stay at your place, and adding to a wonderful holiday.

It was so amazing to be staying right in the middle of the maze of Old Town. You step out the door and you are right in the thick of everything. But because it's on one of the smaller "alleys" it wasn't loud at all at night. The apartment is not big—nothing is in OldTown!— but it was charming, clean and delightfully decorated.

Despite the very eclectic decor, the apartment is charming and the location could not be better! An easy walk from the city gates with no stairs required, which is a bonus to find in the old town. Street noise was noticeable but not loud and quieted down at night. Our host was incredibly responsive and accommodating. It was a perfect weekend!

The apartment's location was terrific, and there were no stairs, aside from getting up to the bedrooms. It was clean, and coffee, wine and chocolates were waiting for us, which we appreciated. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were private. The hostess was kind enough to let us check in early with our luggage, since there were no other renters that day. Down sides, though not deal-breakers: extremely noisy, because the apartment is at street level, and the old windows don't block any sound. Indeed, we were put off at first by how many people were peering into our windows as they walked by, until we covered them up. The living room furniture was not comfortable, especially the "sofa", which is actually a day-bed, so we kept sinking backward, even with pillows. But the biggest detractor was how cluttered the apartment is, with kitch and hundreds of mismatched decorative items on every open surface, including the walls - it just was too "busy" to feel relaxing.

This place has an amazing location. If you are planning on staying in the Old Town… this is the place!!!! Close to amazing restaurants and pubs. The place decoration is unique. Very curated so you feel you are part of Dubrovnik’s art and history We were impressed by the place. The hosts were amazing and friendly. They even left a present to celebrate my friend’s birthday LOVED the place.

Funky, fun, creative and unique are just a few words to describe this apartment. It is one of those places that only by experiencing can you truly appreciate the work taken to create a cozy and comfortable environment in the middle of a historic old town. Rooms were clean and had everything you could ever need (and more). I cannot praise this place high enough - it could not be any better located, with direct access to bars, restaurants and shops. The town of Dubrovnik gives you what you are prepared to put in - climb and walk the walls, visit a host of museums, explore GOT locations or just sit, have a drink and watch the world go by.

Probably the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in. A quaint, homely and eclectic apartment in a perfect location in the old town. The main bedroom had the best bed I have ever slept in. Perfect location smack in the middle of the old town! The apartment is a little tight, but I think that added to its charm and thus perfect for a short stay. The AC was cold and much needed on the hot summer days, and the WiFi was strong. Best part of all was that we didn’t have to lug our luggage up any stairs to get to this unit since it is situated at ground level!

A wonderful holiday stay in the perfect location! Vanja is a very responsive hostess who wants to make your stay in her family home comfortable, welcoming and enjoyable. And, Mia Casa truly is where you want to be on a visit to Dubrovnik- in the heart of Old Town with NO stairs. Trust us, this is key! In the heat of summer, you will not want additional stairs to get to your accommodation and you will want to be on a quiet lane, just like this home, near the sites and sounds of Old Town. The home is clean, beds comfortable, and AC great on hot days. It is an old building in an old city and we were surprised to find it as roomy as it was. Will recommend to all of our friends

Vanja was very responsive, the place was well supplied and home is in great condition and clean. Beds were comfortable, AC kept us cool in the heatwave. It’s an extraordinarily well-lit place, bright and lovely. We did wish we could have turned off the stair lights and unnecessary exit sign at night, those lights were extremely bright. We prefer to sleep with doors open for airflow through the place but those lights were as bright as a hotel hallway. Upstairs neighbors woke us nights starting 23:00-ish pm, a few hours break and then noise (furniture dragging across floors, bumping and banging) again starting at 4:30a.m. Sounds and timing sounded more like a business (restaurant-related?) than airbnb guests. The sleep interruption did impact our energy for getting up in the morning. We let Vanja know and the next night was quiet, and then our last morning the 4:30-5:00 a.m. noise woke us again. Other than that it was a nice place.
