Located in the heart of Polače, the condo sits right on the bay with beautiful views of the water and docked boats. Being inside the national park, it’s just a short walk to the lakes—or, if you prefer, nearby bike rentals make it even quicker to reach the park’s core. Srecko, our local host, welcomed us with the keys and was immediately helpful with taxis, tips, and anything else we needed. He was kind, attentive, and truly made us feel at home. On site, Restaurant Sponga was a highlight—Srecko prepared an incredible “under the bell” peka lamb, easily one of the best stews I’ve had in years. Kudos to the chef! All told, it’s a magical location with wonderful hosts and comfortable accommodations. Highly recommended.

Prostran i lijep apartman, balkon sa odlicnim pogledom, domacin srdacan i pristupacan. Svakako preporucam. Jedino pazite na to ne bacite ulaznicu za nacionalni park kada ste tamo. Ja sam bacio pa sam u naselju svaki put iznova morao objasnjavati zasto je nemam.

Appartamento carino, la vista è incredibile e vale tutto il resto. Appartamento facile da trovare, ma se non si ha intenzione di noleggiare un mezzo la zona intorno non è super servita. Ottima l’accoglienza, ci è stato concesso di fare il check-in 2 ore prima, cosa non scontata. L’unica cosa che mi sento di consigliare è di mettere a disposizione degli ospiti qualche prodotto di pulizia. Abbiamo soggiornato nell’appartamento 3 giorni e non c’era assolutamente nulla per pulire. Tutto sommato una buona esperienza

This is the perfect place for when you want to truly get away from it all. Set in a tiny, beautiful town, the apartment looks straight out onto the sea — the view is incredible. It has everything you need, but nothing feels fussy or overdone, which only adds to its charm. The town has a few small restaurants and a shop, and you can reach the National Park with a scenic half-hour walk up and down a hill. You can also buy your park ticket nearby, making it all very convenient. One thing to note: the apartment is accessed via numerous steps, so it may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.

Great stay in Polace, beautiful views from the air bnb. It could be updated with some modern furnishings but otherwise perfect for what we needed, and great comfy bed. Would recommend!

My Partner and I visited Mljet last year for a day trip and immediately fell in love. We were delighted to come back to Croatia for the third time and to be able to stay in such a beautiful place like this. Jelena was very helpful and responsive. Would highly recommend this host !! We stayed at Jelena's apartment for two days in Polače. The apartment is in very center of the village, and has a super nice seafood restaurant in the street floor. Check-in and check-out were both very flexible and the host was friendly and flexible in both ways. We were able to extend our visit untill our ferry came the leaving day which was super nice. Would definitely book this apartment again when we visit Mljet the next time.

Great location, unfortunately the internet did not work well and the bed was very uncomfortable. Would have loved to have a few more furnishings such as paper towels for the kitchen and bath soap for the bathroom.

We would really recommend this perfect accommodation. It’s absolutely huge, has everything you need and the view is just stunning. Sitting on the balcony in the sunshine watching the world go by was just perfect. The hosts were super friendly and really helpful.

We had a wonderful few days staying in Polace. Communication with Jelena was great and she gave us lots of information about how to get there with a car. We were greeted by Srecko from Sponga restaurant below the apartment and he parked our car in a small space by the restaurant. The apartment was great…comfy beds, good shower etc. but the best bit has to be the views of the beautiful bay from the terrace and balcony. A super spot to relax and watch the boats in the bay. We walked to the National park (30 mins) and then walked around both lakes and took the solar boat to St Mary Island (included in price of park ticket). Lots of places in the park to picnic and one restaurant on the island of St Mary. Back in Polace we ate dinner at Sponga restaurant both nights and the food was delicious. We had an Octopus dish (two hours notice required) one night and the next night saved space for desert which was amazing. We were very well looked after and had a great few days. Thank you.

My stay in Polace on Mljet Island was nothing short of phenomenal. Polace turned out to be a delightful resort area, embodying tranquility and raw natural beauty. It's a place where simplicity meets charm, creating a refreshing holiday destination. One of the major highlights was its proximity to the nearby lakes. The opportunity to cycle around the picturesque surroundings on electric bikes made the experience even more enchanting. It provided a unique blend of thrill and relaxation - a feature that not many places can boast about. Our stay was significantly enhanced by our choice of apartment. The terrace was nothing short of a dream! It offered mesmerizing views of the bay, presenting an absolutely awe-inspiring panorama. The peaceful mornings spent gazing at the resplendent sunrise over the serene landscapes made the entire experience feel magical. A special highlight of our stay was the exquisite dinner at Sponga restaurant.

Beautiful location in beautiful bay. Walk to a cute beach. 20 minute walk to the Park entrance. Grocery store and bakery just steps away. Excellent terrace. Well equipped. Good kitchen. Good separation between bedroom and living/kitchen room. Only downside is no A/C or fan in the bedroom and if you leave the doors open it can be noisy because of people socializing until late at night. I used a rain app to drown out the noise and it mostly worked well.

Beautiful spot! This apartment has an amazing view and a lovely patio. It is easy to walk to restaurants and a small grocery store in Polače. From the apartment, you can walk to the entrance of the national park in about 20 minutes using a trail. The space is very well-equipped with good wifi and a comfortable bed. Jelena was quick to respond and check in and check out was super easy.

Ihr habt eine wunderschöne Unterkunft. Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und gepflegt. Ich hätte mir bei diesen heissen Temperaturen die Klimaanlage im Schlafzimmer gewünscht, aber das ist auch wirklich das einzige. El alojamiento está muy bien ubicado, muy cerca del puerto de Polače. La casa es estupenda, está totalmente equipada, es espaciosa y tiene un balcón con unas vistas inmejorables. Jelena es maravillosa y siempre dispuesta a ayudar y a aconsejarte en todo momento. Sin duda alguna me volvería a alojar aquí.
