Great location, just a few minute walk from the entrance to the Mljet National Park. We did 3 of the hiking routes over 4 days, and the nature is magnificent. The apartment is basic, but has everything you need, with a great view from the balcony, and 5-10 restaurants all by the harbour within 3 minutes of walk. We had a lovely stay!

We really enjoyed our short stay here. The location was fantastic, and having two balconies was great. It had all the facilities we needed. As another review noted, the walls between apartments are quite thin, but it didn't disrupt our sleep. We would stay here again.

Jelena was a wonderful host. From the very second I made the reservation she was incredibly helpful with how I should get to the apartment from Dubrovnik airport. She was able to help arrange transportation and make many helpful recommendations. The apartment itself was in such a breathtaking area of Pomena. It was a perfect little port with many restaurant and food options. It was also so close to the hiking, lakes, bike rentals, and all of the other fun opportunities to explore during your stay. All for such an amazing price, I cannot give a bigger thumbs up to Jelena and her hospitality. In addition I was lucky enough to have a taxi ride with Marko, part of the family. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and gave me a phenomenal introduction to the area and the surroundings. It was an absolute pleasure to stay here.

We stayed at Jelena's apartment for a few nights at the beginning of October. Our hosts were really friendly and helpful. The apartment has everything on the photos / description. Bedroom, separate living area and bathroom. In addition a big plus for us was the clothes airer on the terrace outside to dry out swimming gear. The apartment is in a great location overlooking the harbour and near the National Park The major thing we would like to highlight is how helpful the hosts were. A storm disrupted ferry schedules. the hosts proactively contacted us. With advice on what are alternatives were for transport or accommodation. This really helped us and we were very pleased to be able to stay an extra night.

Cute apartment on the waterfront in Pomena. We just needed a calm base for hiking and this was it. Hosts responsive and helpful, allowed early check in and gave us some local tips. Close to the small shop in the town and all restaurants.

Miejsce czyste i zadbane. Łazienka po remoncie, więc wygląda lepiej niż na zdjęciach. Dostępny jest także nowy telewizor i kuchnia indukcyjna. Bardzo dobrze działająca klimatyzacja. Kuchnia jest zaopatrzona w potrzebne naczynia i narzędzia. Piękny widok z okna i z balkonów. Gospodarz jest przyjazny, bardzo dobrze mówi po angielsku i łatwo jest się z Nim skontaktować w razie potrzeby. Nie było problemu z przytrzymaniem bagaży po wymeldowaniu.

My stay on the island of Mljet was amazing. The apartment had the most wonderful view from the balcony and was very close to the ferry port. Great apartment in a perfect location for exploring the National Park. As others have said make sure you buy supplies from the mainland before you get the ferry as although there is a small shop it only opens 9am - 2pm and is closed on Sundays. Also lots of the restaurants only take cash so make sure you bring enough, although there is an ATM but it does charge you to withdraw money. The apartment itself has everything you need, kettle, fridge etc and is very comfortable. The host was fabulous, very friendly and helpful and allowed us to leave our bags after check out as or ferry wasn’t until later in the day. I would definitely recommend this place.

This apartment is absolutely beautiful - located in the middle of the bay in Pomena giving peace and a wonderful view. Jelena and Pavo were very helpful with our check in and questions during our stay. The balcony's are great for enjoying views of the town and the sunset. The apartment has everything you need including kitchen amenities and a hair dryer. We really loved it here and hope to come back again!

We spent two nights in Jelena and Pavo’s apartment in September and enjoyed our stay. The apartment is conveniently located right on the seaside in Pomena an excellent location for a few restaurants and the National Park with stunning lakes. The apartment is small and compact - smaller than we expected it to be so we were glad it was only a short stay. It’s also opposite large boats that sail onto the dock and they can be noisy at night which was surprising for us and something to bear in mind. The walls of the apartment are also thin so can hear neighbour apartments. Pomena is a small island perfect for a hike around the national park. You may wish to get food from the shops on mainland or other islands as the shop stock was fairly limited. However you will have relaxing stay in pomena.

What a fantastic place to stay in Mljet. Great location, the views from the balcony were amazing. The bed was so comfy, great shower and well equipped kitchen, we had everything we needed and at a great price too. Jelena was very quick to respond to any questions I had and Pavo was there to greet us and told us everything we needed to know about the area. We had a late ferry so they let us store our luggage so we had the day to still enjoy the island. I would not hesitate to recommend Jelena’s place to stay.

Es ist ein angenehmes, kleines Appartement. Die Küche dürfte etwas größer sein zum kochen. Jetzt in der Vorsaison war es sehr angenehm von den Leuten her, in der Hochsaison dürfte es lauter sein, da dann wohl noch mehr tagesschiffe und andere boote ankommen, um den Nationalpark zu besuchen. Es hat einen Hahn in der Nähe, der morgens um vier zu gackern beginnt. Wer einen leichten Schlaf hat, wird dann sicher geweckt… in unserem Appartement funktionierte der Abfluss im Lavabo nicht gut, müsste mal gründlich gereinigt werden….. sonst alles tipptopp.

This was our first time to Mljet and our host was responsive to coordinate ferry drop off times with greeting us on arrival. We came at the start of May and whilst the weather was good, there were limited things open. The supermarket was closed and very few restaurants were open - however by the time we left, a few more had opened! Advice is to bring supplies for breakfast etc from the mainland! Pomena was peaceful, with a few boat holidays here to liven the place up, but no excess noise etc. We spent two full days in the national park - one with a walk around both lakes and a trip to St Mary’s island and one with two hikes up Gradac and Montokuc - bring comfortable shoes as it is rocky! The apartment had everything we needed and the views were incredible. The walls are thin, so you may hear your neighbours from time to time, but this didn’t disrupt our stay. Everything was clean and we had a lovely stay!

This place is perfect for a visit to Mljet and the National park. It is small but has everything you need. The kitchen is well stocked, the bathroom is nice, the AC works well and the bed is comfortable. We loved having 2 balconies plus the ability to use the bigger balcony where we ate dinner two nights. We’ve also been traveling for awhile and they kindly did our laundry for us. I’d definitely recommend staying here!
