It’s hard to find the words to describe this magical stay. Mljet was amazing, Sobra is such a quaint and beautiful village. Frano’s hospitality was second to none, and the apartment was absolutely perfect. A few steps to swim in the ocean, a short walk to the best pizza, and a short drive to the national park and lakes. We travelled from Australia and it was worth every cent and every hour of travel. Very memorable. Thankyou Frano, we adore your island home. Croatia is a very special place.

We had an AMAZING stay in Sobra. Frano was a great host, he also helped to rent a car with a baby car seat so we could get around the island as we pleased. He was very attentive in making sure we had a nice stay. Apartment was beautiful and right on the water, meaning amazing sunrises and sunsets, and super peaceful. I would highly recommend.

Gleich buchen, gar nicht überlegen :)) die Unterkunft ist ein Traum. Es gibt nur einen kleinen Negativpunkt, es gibt keine Fliegennetze an den Fenstern und es hat wahnsinnig viele Stechmücken. Wir konnten daher leider nur schlecht und wenig schlafen. Vielen Dank für tolle Tage auf Mljet.

Nos ha encantado la estancia en el alojamiento de Frano. Amanecer y bañarte en el mar era maravilloso, por no hablar de los atardeceres con un libro. La casa estaba muy limpia y todo muy ordenado. Mejor en persona incluso que en las fotos! Una pena no haber podido quedarnos 1 mes entero!!

Wonderful split level appartment-house overlooking the bay. Easy check in at the harbour with our hosts who were extremely helpful and friendly. everything exactly as described. the kids loved the private platform into the sea. Just perfect. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We had the best time in Sobra, Mljet. A magical house in a magical town on a magical island. It was so nice exploring the island and then being so happy to come back to this little secluded spot. I want to live here!

Well this is a really difficult review to write simply because there are not enough words to say how amazing this place is. For us it was totally perfect in every way. Yes it is quiet and at the opposite side to the national park but the apartment and surroundings are so beautiful we just didn’t want to leave. Frano was really responsive and we had the pleasure to meet his family who were lovely. We loved kayaking across the bay for coffee or afternoon beer or wine. The local restaurants and community are really special. Go and try them all - Robbie’s homemade wine at Lanterna the boar stew,Oysters were great. Next door Konoba Riva with a a lovely friendly owner and great pizza. I hope we will return one day.

Heaven on earth. we loved every minute of our stay, from our first view of the mountains and oceans to the peaceful tranquility of the area. Wow! Just Wow 👌 The property is clean, spacious and well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Frano was a wonderful host, always responsive, but left you to your privacy during your stay. An amazing place which will will certainly return to. I will miss our morning swims in the sea from the small deck below the house and our afternoons lying on the sunbeds in such a peaceful location. a wonderful island and ideal place to explore from. You will need a car, and Frano kindly helped us with this. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer than our three nights. We'll be back, for sure.

Lovelist AirBnB ever. Very clean and nicely decorated apartment with its own private jetty with sunloungers. Great kitchen and bathroom too. Peaceful area with a short walk to a couple of restaurants and a small shop. Recommend hiring a car from Frano for sure. He was a very helpful host. Will definitely come back in the future.

The Airbnb was a blissful, well-situated reprieve. The heated floors were a nice bonus. We were provided with a full walkthrough of the unit upon check-in and questions and requests during our stay were answered promptly. He also assisted with a car rental and the process was seamless. The private beach is more of a dock and is adjacent to another dock, that of the neighbour's. We would definitely return to Frano's in the future.

Frano’s house is a gem. I loved swimming from the dock beneath the house, walking to the local restaurants, and seeing the sun rise over the sea every morning from the bedroom. The house is charming, and host is extremely helpful.

We absolutely loved our week staying at Frano's house in Sobra. The location is unbelievably beautiful: if you love being surrounded by nature - this is the location! The house has a private beach area from which you can dive directly into calm, crystal clear water - great for swimming and snorkelling. We also loved kayaking in Frano's kayak around the bay in the evenings. The house itself is very nicely put together - make sure you ask for the sea view bedroom to be opened up if there are just 2 of you (you have to pay extra but we think it was worth it for the extra space and the stunning view). We highly recommend eating at the local restaurant Lanterna - where we enjoyed fresh fish (caught from the local area) and good vibes every evening! A trip to the Odysseus Cave to jump off the cliffs is also an absolute must. We didn't make it to the national park this time as we had so much time enjoying the local area around Sobra - but we'll be back for more!

We had a superb stay with Franco. The apartment was very beautiful and well kept in a quiet and private area. Sobra is a beautiful place and very remote. Franco went above and beyond to accommodate us. Was an absolutely fantastic stay - I would strongly recommend to hire a car which you can do through Franco! Couldn’t recommend the beautiful island of Mljet anymore highly 🙌🏼🇭🇷

This is paradise – modern stylish rooms, lots of space, beautiful seating areas overlooking the bay, sunbeds on the shore where you can have a refreshing swim. The host is also very nice and helpful – good communication and easy check-in. Ideal base to discover Mljet, as Sobra is located in the middle of the island. Only 2km from the ferry from Peljesac. Sobra has two restaurants, one take-away and a small supermarket.

We loved our stay at Frano’s place. The private jetty was perfect - especially for swimming and the use of the kayak. The Airbnb was spotless and really comfy to stay in. We would definitely recommend hiring a car as only Sobra town is walkable - the port is a short drive away (Frano and Andrea kindly gave us a lift). We would definitely stay again

The pictures don't do this place justice. It's a great location too, you can walk to the shop, a couple of restaurants or a beach. The flat is immaculate with everything we needed to cook simple meals too. We would visit again.

Frano was very helpful, picking us up from the ferry, supplying snorkeling gear and getting car rental arranged. His spot is clean, peaceful and beautiful, right on the water - we enjoyed our time on Mljet immensely!

Frano is a super host very friendly and approachable :) The town of Sobra is strategically located to reach any point in the island of Mljet by car or bike within a reasonable amount of time. If what you are looking for is an amazing ,peaceful and scenic vacation, this is the place for you. We were all over the island and nothing compares to Frano’s place. Could not recommend more.

Ich bin noch immer total begeistert von der tollen Unterkunft. Wirklich ein Traum!!! Was mir besonders gefallen hat, ist die Nähe zum Meer und die Ruhe. Die Wohnung (vor allem die Küche) ist super ausgestattet. Also, ich kann die Unterkunft wirklich nur empfehlen! Der Check-In Prozess war super einfach und Frano und Andrea sind total nett, hilfsbereit und unkompliziert. Also, wirklich sehr zu empfehlen!

Incroyable de A à Z! Frano nous a accueilli à bras ouvert dès les premiers contacts et a été super disponible. Il a veillé à ce que tout se passe au mieux du début jusqu’à la fin du séjours et nous à donner beaucoup de conseil pour profiter de l’ile au maximum.
