Cavtat is a holiday resort destination 18 kilometers south of Dubrovnik voted, in fact, as one of the top European destinations in 2021.  It is best known for its beaches, but it does however hold an important place in cultural history of the area. Here a local museum exhibits such examples and the summer festival displays cultural performances and traditional dances.
