We stayed in these wonderful apartments and were completely satisfied and happy with them. A charming guest house in the center of Rovinj on Carera Street, which you like at first sight because of its amazing old style combined with absolute comfort and modern amenities. Inside, there is everything you need for comfortable living, cooking, and simply to feel at home. The rooms are filled with beautiful antique pieces and plants. Nice little touches for tea are included. The terrace and windows offer a view of the streets of the old town. On top of all this, the owner is a very kind and welcoming person. We are truly grateful for his hospitality, and both the apartment and the city make us want to return one day.

Standort war ideal, man ist super zentral und kommt innerhalb von wenigen Minuten überall hin. Wir wurden frühzeitig von Robert kontaktiert, um ein Treffen für das Check-In auszumachen. Er hat uns die Schlüssel übergeben, mit den Koffern geholfen und uns eine kleine Einführung ins Appartement gezeigt. Was auch sehr lobenswert ist, es war Wasser mit und ohne Kohlensäure im Kühlschrank, was im Hochsommer sehr gelegen kommt. Auch war eine kleine Flasche leckerer Schnaps im Kühlschrank, was eine coole Zugabe war 😁 Die Ausstattung war ideal, es gibt eine kleine Küche, ein Bad, viele zusätzliche Handtücher, einen Wasserkocher und reichlich Kaffee & Zucker. Es hat auch nicht an Platz gefehlt und das Bett war gemütlich. Das Zimmer war auch im allgemeinen sehr sauber. Trotz der zentralen Lage war das Zimmer sehr ruhig. Die Gemeinschaftsterasse war super, wenn man seine nassen Handtücher oder Badewäsche etc. zum trocknen aufhängen wollte. Ich würde es jedem empfehlen, der günstig und gut hausen möchte.

We had an excellent stay! Rob met us at the location to welcome us, show us inside and was extremely responsive at all times with helpful recommendations. Perfect location in the centre of town, easy to walk everywhere. Accommodation was large, clean and comfortable. It had all the facilities that you require, and more. Highly recommend it to anyone!

Loveliest stay in Croatia so far. We stayed for 2 nights and the apartment feels like home away from home. Robert welcome us at the door personally. We were orientate to the apartment and offered shots of grappa. Everything in the apartment is thoughtfully designed and you have all your living necessities there. The location in city centre and metres away from the waters. Robert also regularly check in with us on our stay and accomodate our request for late check out. I will definitely stay here when I am in Rovinj again.

Our host, Robert, was very charming and he greeted us on arrival, which is not always the case, but it was much appreciated. He was always available via text to answer any questions we had. The apartment is very spacious, full of old world charm, very well equipped and spotless. The location is perfect, in the centre of the old town of Rovinj, a few minutes walk from the main parking lot (which is expensive, but there is a free parking lot about 15 mins walk away). There are quite a lot of stairs, but even in our senior years we found them manageable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks again Robert!

An excellent couple of nights in a truly wonderful little town. I walked right past the building when I arrived but, thanks to great, instant WhatsApp communication, Robert, the host, actually came down and found me. The room was spacious and was fully equipped with everything I needed and it was in a perfect location - right in the centre of the old town and close to everything. I highly recommend Barocco.

This apartment is right at the entry point of the old town in Rovinj and very quiet. Everything from bakeries to restaurants is close by. Exploring the city in the morning is especially rewarding due to the empty streets. Definitely try a swim at the “rocky beach” not far from this place.

Das Zimmer ist in der obersten Etage eines Hauses mitten in der Altstadt. Vom Fenster hat man einen schönen Blick über die Dächer der Altstadt bis zum Hafen. Trotz der zentralen Lage ist es bei geschlossenen Fenstern absolut ruhig (Doppelverglasung). Nachts kann man sogar bei offenem Fenster schlafen. Das Zimmer ist geräumig und hat ausser dem Doppelbett einen Tisch zum Essen und eine Kochgelegenheit mit Spüle. Alles ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Der Inhaber holt die Gäste vor dem Haus persönlich ab und ist jederzeit zu erreichen.

The location of the property is ideal. It is right in the centre of Old Town and because the property is on a main street there is no need to negotiate all the alleyways of Old Town. The property is meticulously clean and has a delightful little terrace to sit and have breakfast in the morning - it’s also super peaceful!

The room was located right in the center of town so it was within a ten minute walk to many restaurants, shops and main attractions. The view was also very amazing. Also it was so nice that we were able to have a flexible check in and check out time.

We enjoyed our stay in Rovinj The place was conveniently located in a historic villa in the old town. The owner was very helpful and waited for us at the location. Only consideration for some would be that the room is located on the fourth floor. For us the stairs ware not a problem.

In camera non mancava nulla (phon, ferro da stiro, frigorifero, posate, bicchieri, wifi, tv, bollitore e aria condizionata). C’è anche un pratico terrazzo a metà palazzo ad accesso condiviso per stendere le cose o semplicemente sedersi per un momento di relax tra i tetti delle case. La stanza aveva anche uno scorcio mare oltre che la vista sui tetti. L’edificio è un tipico palazzo d’epoca in centro storico e quindi manca l’ascensore.
