Eine hervorragende Unterkunft, um Dubrovnik zu erkunden. Die Busverbindungen sind sehr gut, die Haltestelle ist in etwa 5 bis 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es mehrere empfehlenswerte Restaurants, in denen man sehr gut essen kann. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und jederzeit gut erreichbar. Izvrsan smještaj za istraživanje Dubrovnika. Autobusne linije su vrlo dobre, a stanica se nalazi otprilike 5 do 10 minuta hoda od smještaja. U neposrednoj blizini nalazi se nekoliko izvrsnih restorana u kojima se može odlično jesti. Domaćin je vrlo ljubazan i uvijek lako dostupan.

Great apartment, in a brilliant location, very close to the sunset beach and less than 10 min driving from the old town. The apartment is very spacious, in pristine conditions and in a quiet residential area. Ivan 10/10, friendly, supportive, proactive.

I would definitely recommend this apartment. Very close to bars, restaurants and the beach but located on a very quiet street. Apartment was very clean and the host, Ivan, showed us all the local gems and gave us lots of advice on what to do whilst we was here. Uber was about €9 into Dubrovnik old town. Would recommend

As most of the other reviews say this is a great place to stay to explore La Pad and it’s surrounded area’s, some helpful tips: Do take the ferry from the old town to Lockrum island, definitely worth a visit, the number 10 bus to Cavtat is also worth doing. Eating wise definately try Jacks Food and Beer, best burgers we’ve ever had, either 20 min walk or catch the number 4 bus and get off right by it or Skala restaurant, great food, good prices and lovely helpful staff. We were very glad that we chose to stay at Apartment Helen and would definitely recommend.

We had a pleasant 3 nights’ stay at the apartment. Ivan was responsive and provided clear instructions on finding the place, parking, nearby amenities etc. The apartment is located in a convenient location with a bus stop where we can take a short bus ride into the Old Town. We also went to the Sunset Beach which is a short 10 min walk away. There are basic cooking condiments provided which is really helpful as we cooked some of our meals in the apartment. There is also a washing machine (no dryer but there is a clothes rack where you can hang the clothes to dry outside the patio) which is most useful as we were on a road trip with our little one. Overall, we had enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Dubrovnik.

The photos of the place need to be updated as the Airbnb is even nicer than the photos (recent upgrades to outside area etc). The location was fab , really close to pharmacy, supermarket, beach, restaurants, bus etc. local recommendations were great. We would strongly recommend the Blue Caves tour! Host was lovely and allowed us to check in early

This place was fantastic. Firstly it had parking which was super convenient (and not always the case on the Dalmatian Coast). The apartment is close to Lapad promenade with beautiful views of the Adriatic Sea and a great set of restaurants, cafes and ice cream options. The bus is close to the apartment and an easy 10 minute ride to the beautiful old town. Ivan was able great host and met us on arrival:

Die Unterkunft ist etwas Abseits gelegen, aber man kann alles sehr schnell erreichen. Mit dem Uber in die Altstadt für nur 5-6€ und 10min Fahrzeit. Der Host ist super hilfsbereit und sofort zur Stelle wenn etwas ist. Alles in allem hat mir der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen!

Great value modern apartment in a quiet but connected location. The apartment is modern, tastefully decorated and well equipped with wifi, aircon, smart tv’s in both rooms and a washing machine in the shower room. The large terrace gets the morning sun, perfect for lazy breakfasts. The compact kitchen has everything you need to prepare breakfast or a simple meal. A filter coffee machine was much appreciated and well used during our stay! Coffee, sugar, cooking oil and seasonings were provided along with basic toiletries and cleaning supplies. Location: Quiet residential area, close to main routes to the old town. A short walk to the supermarket and bakery. 10 mins walk to Lapad (sunset) beach & 12 mins walk to the marina where there are cafe/bars and restaurants. There are also several bus stops to the old town. Host: Responsive and helpful, Ivan arranged a taxi from the airport and we were met on arrival for a quick briefing. Ivan can also arrange day trips and activities.

Ivan ist ein sehr freundlicher und kommunikativer Gastgeber, jederzeit erreichbar und bereit für guten Tipps um einen, einen angenehmen Aufenthalt zu bescheren. Die Wohnung ist wie auf den Bildern zu sehen und beschrieben. Sehr sauber und bietet alles was man für einen Aufenthalt benötigt. Die Lage ist ruhig gelegen und bietet alles was man benötigt in Fuß Nähe. Ein Aufenthalt bei Ivan ist definitiv weiter zu empfehlen.

Amazing, modern apartment in a great location. I’m glad we stayed here and just visited the old town. Lapad is a great area and sunset beach is a lovely place for dinner / drinks. Ivan was great at check in, proving information about the apartment along with ideas on places to visit and where to eat. Whilst he lives on site we didn’t see him again so you get a lot of privacy. The apartment itself is very clean, modern, has everything you need (tv, wifi, huge sofa, comfy bed, AC, great shower and a washing machine). The balcony was great after exploring for the day.

We had a perfect stay. Ivan is an excellent and deeply knowledgeable host, so flexible with check in access when our flight ended up being delayed and making time to talk us through the local area, activities we could do and of course, providing us with welcome cookies! The apartment itself is clean, comfortable and in a very good location. It’s a safe neighbourhood in easy reach of Sunset Beach and many restaurants and supermarkets. The bus stops close by but we also took taxis to/from the Old Town (around 5EUR) as these were easy too. All in all, a great stay and we will definitely be coming back to Dubrovnik.

We had a great stay at Ivan’s place! It was immaculately clean and really comfortable. Ivan’s a great host. He took the time to tell us a bit about the local area and recommended a great swimming spot that we enjoyed. The terrace is a real bonus too! We had a small issue with one of the air conditioners but Ivan said he’s looking into it for future guests.

I would say this is the one of the best apartments I ever stayed via Airbnb. You have anything you need which made our stay really comfortable and convenient! The location is great which you can just reach to the sunset beach by foot. And 10 mins by Uber to the old town (5-6 euros). The shower is also great with good water pressure and sufficient wash space. The outside balcony is also a big plus which you can enjoy glass of wine of beers with stars in the sky! Ivan is a very attentive and relaxed person. He can help you not only for the good stay but also arranging trips in Dubrovnik. Totally recommend Ivan’s apartment when visiting Dubrovnik!

Ivan’s apartment is well located near the Sunset beach and the Promenade where you can find many excellent restaurants and bars with good food and drinks and perfect landscapes. The apartment is very comfortable, clean and modern. Good value for money. A little longer walk to the old city and the Bellevue beach but you can also take the bus.

The assistance from our hosts Ivan and Ivana was excellent. We stayed for 5 nights and found the apartment was quiet, very comfortable, with modern appliances and useful clothes storage/ hanging space. The apartment location gave a real feel for living in Dubrovnik, rather than a hotel or resort. Short walks to buses, minimarts, marina, restaurants and strolls through park. Value for money was great.

Apartment Helen was in an ideal location, close to bars and restaurants but still quiet enough to get a good nights sleep or relax on the terrace. Ivan was a great host and picked us up from the airport on arrival and showed us where everything was located. He also gave us recommendations of places to eat, sights to see and other local necessities to make our stay uncomplicated. Everything was easily accessible via bus/uber/foot, for example an Uber to the old town was around £4.00 and took 10 mins. You really got a feel for what it felt like to live there rather than just being a tourist. We really enjoyed our stay and would return.

Located in a quiet residential street in Lapad. Handy for local shops and the pedestrian street (Šetalište kralja Zvonimira) with numerous bars and restaurants that leads across to Lapad beach. Also the bus stop to the Old Town is just a minute away. The apartment is modern with pretty much everthing we needed incl. a little kitchen and dining area. Good shower in the bathroom, which also had a little washing machine which was very useful. Air-con throughout was much appreciated. The hosts are lovely.
