Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und sehr schön eingerichtet. Die Lage ist atemberaubend auch wenn es so viele Treppen zu besteigen waren. Der Service war sehr freundlich und es kamen schnelle antworten als man etwas gebraucht hat. Zum Schluss haben wir noch ein kleines Geschenk bekommen🫶🏼😇

the accommodation is set in a beautiful area with breathtaking views from the balcony. the 383 steps down to the harbour are tough going but worthwhile. Maro and his family are lovely and cannot do enough for you. Dubrovnik is beautiful and staying in Maros apartment was the icing on the cake

We had a wonderful stay in Dubrovnik! The apartment is modern, with an incredible view, and it’s very well located with a bus stop just a 2-minute walk away that takes you directly to the Old Town. Our hosts were very welcoming, and we truly appreciate their hospitality. Maro, the property manager, was also extremely helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. We would definitely recommend this accommodation!

This apartment and the hosts were absolutely wonderful! We’re so glad we had the chance to stay here. The view is stunning, and the location couldn’t be better. Like much of the city, there are quite a few stairs to get to and from the apartment, but it didn’t bother us—and the host even went above and beyond by helping us carry our bags down. Truly an amazing stay, and we can’t recommend this place enough!

Hello, this place is absolutely fantastic. Beautiful views of the marina from above, and a stunning view at night. Regarding the apartment: clean, it has absolutely everything you need, even beach towels, a microwave, bath gels, and air conditioning. Incredibly friendly hosts, including Marco, who showed us where everything was, where to go to restaurants, shops, and which excursions are worth taking. This is the first time I've experienced such warm treating and a place ready for life. On the day of our departure, we received a lovely gift from the hostess, a magnet. If I could, I'd give it an 11/10.

My partner and I stayed at Maro’s place for 6 days. We flew into Zadar and travelled to Dubrovnik. Maro was excellent he was always replying instantly and was extremely accommodating with everything. We arrived at the Airbnb at around 23:00 and it was extremely easy to find it and get inside with no hassle. I had a request for Maro if he could do a little surprise for my partner as we went for her birthday and he delivered with homemade cake which was delicious and had some goodies in the flat like champagne, beer and some sweets. The flat was incredible with incredible view of Dubrovnik and only 40 minutes walk to the Old Town or 5 minutes with Uber which we did. The check out we were gifted a Dubrovnik magnet and honestly this is the best stay we have had so far on Airbnb. Just wanted to congratulate Maro for such an incredible experience.

The view from the apartment is absolutely amazing! It’s a short Uber or bus (if you’re brave enough to face the stairs 😂) from the old town, around €9 a trip (not in surge times) and it has allocated parking so we were able to come and go easily. The apartment kitchen was really well stocked and the place was clean and comfortable would absolutely recommend to anyone wanting to stay a little bit out of old town! Mario our host who greeted us was very informative and helpful.

We had an amazing stay at Maro’s beautiful apartment in Dubrovnik. The view from the balcony is absolutely stunning – a real highlight of the trip! The location is great, within walking distance to the port and just a short 5-minute Uber ride to the Old Town, making it easy to explore the city. Maro was a fantastic host: very friendly, helpful, and gave us great tips on how to make the most of our three days in Dubrovnik. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back someday!

Incredibly friendly, accommodating, and responsive host. Our check-in experience was very easy and we were provided with everything we needed during our stay. The views from the apartment and the private terrace are absolutely insane - you're at a perfect spot to view the sunset over the horizon - definitely something that I will look back on for some time to come. The place was very clean and came stocked with the relevant items you'd need for a stay. The host was very knowledgeable and checked in with us on a few occasions to make sure our stay was as we expected or just in case we had any queries. As others have mentioned, be prepared to walk up and down steps to be able to access the apartment or get to some places but thankfully there are bus stops located quite near by or areas where you can catch an uber quite quickly. Dubrovnik is a very hilly region in general so be prepared to traverse quite a few steps but as long as your mobility allows it, I couldn't recommend it enough.

Stunning! Our first day here was cloudy and overcast, but the view was still lovely and calming. The next morning, when we opened the balcony door, sunlight poured into the bay — blue skies, green trees, and red-roofed houses spread out below us, just like the Croatia I had imagined. The house sits at the top of the hill, offering a breathtaking panoramic view. Maro, who welcomed us, was incredibly warm and friendly, and the elderly couple living here were absolutely kind and sweet. We spent three truly happy nights here — highly recommended!

We loved our stay in the apartment. It was very comfortable, well equipped and had a fantastic shower and was very clean. The owners who live next door are lovely and so helpful. They left us some drinks and fruit in the fridge on our arrival and have been so kind to us throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this lovely apartment if you don't mind stairs and are fairly fit. There are many to walk up to get from the pavement level. Best to get a taxi from the port or bus station and walk down just a few if you have heavy luggage. It is well worth the view once you arrive!

The view from the apartment is absolutely stunning, during the day and at sunset. The apartment is small but perfect for 2 people. The host was very helpful and responsive. Easy to get a taxi to old town or lapad. There are some shops and restaurants at walking distance but a lot of steps so easier to get taxis back and forth. I personally think it’nicer to stay here than the old town as the views were so stunning and it was good value for money.

Booked debrovnik for a few nights and stumbled across this apartment, scrolling through and it looked great value for money with the balcony. Arrived there slightly later than anticipated and the host keeping contact with Me the whole time and was waiting near the apt for check in. I'm going to say that the apt is connected to very steep steps which can be a climb from the harbour but when you get there you reep the rewards with an absolutely worldie of a view watching the busy harbour and also the sunset. The owners of the apt was unbelievably friendly and we received gifts every day. Absolutely lovely couple. Loved watching them tend to their garden once the sun had set. Apt had everything we needed and more and found our selves chilling on the balcony more than we anticipated. Would I come back again..... 100% I would love to!

Despite being a little slow coming back to me when I first booked, after that the communication was great and both the airbnb host, Pero, and the owners who live next door were incredibly attentive, kind and welcoming, and looked after me like a friend. The views are incredible, and it is the perfect spot for sunset. The stairs up and down to town are very long and steep, just something to be aware of if you are booking. But I absolutely loved the place, the owners brought me a cake round and gave me a little gift when I left. I felt very looked after by both them and by Pero. Wij hebben erg genoten van ons verblijf. Bij aankomst werden we binnengelaten door de host en kregen we wat tips voor de stad. We vonden het terras met uitzicht over het water fantastisch. Alles was tevens erg schoon en opgeruimd en er waren voldoende voorzieningen om te kunnen koken. Bij vertrek kregen we een kleinigheidje van de eigenaren die woonachtig zijn naast de studio als aandenken, wat erg attent was. We zouden deze plek zeker aanraden!

A lovely find with great hosts who were very kind and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The apartment has a great view but isn’t an easy walk away from the old town. That said, Uber and Bolt taxis were plentiful, even at busy times and cost about €7-8 per journey to and from the old town. The apartment was immaculate and we would recommend it.

Lovely location just outside the Old Town, really nice host who was always very helpful. Pero is a delight to engage with and he was always only a text away. The views were worth the walk down the steps! Might be worth considering if not as able bodied but we found it manageable. The apartment is perfect for a few days exploring, we used the kitchen plenty of times and all the necessary equipment is provided. Just a 7 minute Uber from the Old Town. Ideal location if people want to be close to the tourist spots but away from the hustle and bustle. Beautiful evenings well spent on the balcony. Thanks for a lovely visit

Nous sommes un peu loin du centre mais avec le bus c’est vraiment facile de se rendre en ville. C’était également parfait d’avoir une place de parking réservé. Pero a été très réactif à nos messages. Il a été d’une très grande gentillesse et a pris le temps de nous donner de bonne adresse pour manger et se promener. Il a été agréable et accueillant, sincèrement. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the place is beautiful. The pictures do not do the beautiful views justice(we checked hotels around the area, and we don't think there is a better view to see the islands and the sunset), they exceeded our expectations. There are about 25 steps down to the apartment. The host and the owner were super lovely and very helpful. The owner kindly made us pancakes on one of the days which was very nice of her. There is a bus that goes straight to the old town from the top if you do not wish to walk as it is tiring climbing the steps but we used this opportunity as a workout :) Loved the nearby restaurants, and old town restaurants, make sure you try Holy Burek in the Old Town for the best chicken burek and the Aroma for the ice cream. Too good I would highly recommend this apartment, we are definitely coming back and will be staying here again.

Thank you so much for having us at your beautiful apartment, as soon as we arrived we felt right at home, it was so clean and tidy & had all the amenities that we needed. The kitchen & bathroom were absolutely spotless, we felt so comfortable and relaxed the whole time. The owners and Pero are so lovely and helpful with anything we may need, they also offered us home made cakes which were absolutely delicious. Absolutely fabulous stay! The apartment was spotless & the hosts added lovely personal touches such as juice & a few chocolates on arrival. Check in was super easy & communication was fab. The view from the balcony was stunning! Only downside is there is quite a lot of steps to get there from the Port (and I mean a lot), but you can get a taxi to the road near the apartment and then it’s only a 2 min walk downstairs!

Loved staying at this apartment. Spotlessly clean and in a peaceful location. The terrace area was beautiful and we loved sitting out there watching the sunset at night. The host was very helpful and even recommended places to go and exactly how to get there. Our flight was early in the morning so even though the apartment wasn’t ready we were allowed in to get changed and leave our bags to allow us to go out and explore. Would 100% return.

Fantastic host - extremely helpful and very responsive. Helped us enormously to organise what to do and where to go. The apartment has lovely views overlooking the peninsula and is exactly as described on Airbnb. Very clean and well equipped. It is not suitable for people who are not relatively fit and healthy. It is around 5klm to the Old town, which we could walk or take an Uber to but it is a steep climb with many steps to get back to on foot.

Excellent apartment with a stunning view to be enjoyed from the terrace. The apartment was just as described and generous owner next door ensured we didn’t go hungry. One item to mention is the stairs to access the apartment, approximately 60 steps down from the road, fine if fit and healthy but less mobile may wish to consider somewhere different. Other than this it’s the perfect pad.

We had the best time at the studio flat! The balcony was amazing with sunset views of the islands. The flat was clean and had everything we needed. The lovely host made us pancakes one morning which was a fabulous surprise. The location is a little outside of the main areas, but Uber is really fast and cheap to get into the old city (around €6) and worth staying a little out of the city for the views!! We walked to the old city a few times, took around 40 mins and had a lot of steps, so was a little challenging. Would definitely recommend staying here :)

Very easy to walk a few steps to the main road to get quick Ubers into the old town and short 10 min walk down the steps to the port for easy transfers. The view is stunning … the terrace is much bigger than you can see from the photos … the owners who live next door are very kind and brought in homemade apple strudel and pancakes during the week …on arrival is beer fruit juice and bottled water. The Supermarket is walkable but down 723 steps !! Uber back up. It’s very quick and easy to get Ubers everywhere and not too expensive either. We stayed a week and this was during the kids school hols, the local children from the flats adjacent to the apartment play in the car park and quite rightly so however it can be a bit loud but it isn’t all day.

We took Uber’s back from old town which I would recommend, as you will come to understand Dubrovnik has lots of steps, easy to arrange. This place was great. We had a lovely stay in this studio apartment. The view from the porch was beautiful. We really enjoyed the personal touches of the water, beer, juice, chocolates and the magnet from the host as we were leaving. Very sweet. We felt like it was best to Uber places from here. Not super walkable to Old Town. Can walk (many stairs) to Gruz Port. We definitely recommend this place!

An absolutely stunning apartment with the most incredible view of Gruz harbour. The apartment is in 15 minute walking distance to some lovely restaurants which are on the harbour. Maro met us on our arrival and was extremely friendly. He gave us lots of good advice in regards to where to visit and to eat and he booked us on the three Island cruise tour which was an incredible experience. The owners of the flat live next door and they were equally friendly bringing us breakfast one morning and cake one evening. I would recommend this apartment to anyone who is visiting Dubrovnik who wish to get away from the hustle and bustle of the old town and enjoy a relaxing time within Croatia.

Gewürze, Kaffee, Tee, Reiseführer, diverse Bücher, ausreichend Toilettenpapier, kühle Getränke, etc. Man hat sich direkt wie zu Hause gefühlt. Wundervoller Blick über Hafen und Halbinsel. Flexibler Check in, zum Abschied gab es noch einen schönen Magneten von Dubrovnik. Sehr ruhige Lage, viele Infos über Restaurants und Aktivitäten in der Umgebung. Wir haben es sehr genossen! Der private Parkplatz hat das ganze noch abgerundet.

The previous reviews have said it. This is an excellent apartment with stunning views and a brilliant no 3 or 3A bus to and from the Old Town (free if you have a (now online only) Dubrovnik pass. Yes it is at the top of a LOT of steps but yes, Ubers are plentiful. The city walls and wars guided tour was worth every kuna, as was boat trip to Lokrum. A great base, with really lovely unobtrusive owners next door who gave us gifts on arrival and departure. Thank you so much.

Les hôtes sont adorables et pleins d'attentions. L'appartement est propre, bien équipé et spacieux. Belle terrasse surplombant le bourg et le port. Place de parking réservée et pratique. Service de bus non loin permettant d'accéder à la vieille ville. La ligne 3A reste la meilleure option (+ proche + rapide mais - fréquente). La ligne 3 est dangereuse d'accès (proche de la 3A mais pas de trottoir et beaucoup de trafic). Sinon il faut descendre les escaliers vers le port (environ 10 minutes) et là 6 lignes sur 8 vous mèneront à la vieille ville.
