Apartments Lorena was the perfect place to stay to explore Mljet. It was close to the port, the National Park entrance and some amazing restaurants. The place was lovely, and we were able to check in early, which we really appreciated. Thank you!

I had a very pleasant stay here. The location is excellent, right next to the national park, and the hosts are kind and welcoming. The place is clean and cozy, but a bit small for three people if you plan to stay longer than just a couple of nights. Overall, a lovely experience and I would recommend it!

Great location close to the ferry stop and entrance to the national park. The owner was very helpful. He helped us organize a ride from Polace to the apartment and let us leave bags there after checkout so we could continue to explore until our outbound ferry.

Krásné místo přímo v centru městečka a kousek od jezer. Krásný výhled z balkonu a svítící a večerní město. A pan majitel? Jednoznačně ten nejmilejší pán, kterého jsem poznala na tomto ostrově. Donesl nám domácí cheesecake, čekal nás při příjezdu, vše ukázal a byl velmi hodný - děkujeme za vše a moc rádi se k vám znovu vrátíme. :-)

This apartment has one of the best views in Pomena. It has a lovely balcony looking directly on to the port and perfect for watching the sunset. It was really central for restaurants in Pomena and the national park which is only a short walk / cycle. The apartment itself was a good size, clean and cosy and had everything we needed. Highly recommend.

Cozy spot right on the harbor. Great views from the apartment. Hosts were great communicators and went the extra mile to store our luggage upon check out. Easy walk from the ferry to your cozy apartment. The walls between units are a little thin which is a small problem easily solved with earplugs at bed time. Good value, location, and Pomena is a place you must visit. Walk or ride bikes to the lakes is a must on your trip. Cheers.

Location: Google Maps is not your friend on this one. Both the TP and Krillo ferries come to this small fishing village & Apartment Lorena Miljet is a short 200 meters away. The village follows the U shape of the ocean and the ferries dock at one end, start walking toward the middle of U and look up - there is a big banner on the balcony so you cannot miss it. Do not take long road that Google Maps gives, walk along the shoreline. Host: Let Pavo know when you are coming and he will greet you w/ a smile and show you around the apartment. Use WhatsAp and the hours are 9-14:00 (4pm). Apartment: I had #3 and it was very nice. Terrace overlooking the Adriatic sea, refrigerator with a freezer (icetray!), oven, 2 burner stovetop, toaster, coffee pot w/ coffee, kettle, oil, vinegar, etc. AC is in the living area, but kept the bedroom cool enough. There are even mosquito screens on windows & the patio door, Pavo & his wife did a really nice job, especially considering this is a small island where everything had to be imported. There is a card operated laundromat in town (10 euro a load) & you can dry clothes on your terrace. There were outlets everywhere, including by the bed, not sure why some reviews say otherwise. All rooms have a terrace and a view, it is obvious Pavo & his wife put a lot of thought into making a homy place to stay and the bed was SUPER COMFORTABLE. The wifi did timeout a few times before connecting in the living room, but worked like a champ in the bedroom. So what? I was not there to play games on my computer all day. Pomena: Basically a 2 block village with plenty of restaurants (only a few take cards), bike/kayak rentals, etc. In May the grocery store was not open for the summer season but there are other grocery stores on the island, I suggest bringing what you need. The local bus only runs once a day and leaves Pomena at 4:45am but Pavo is a taxi driver. The park entrance is less than 5 minutes away.

My Host Pavo was delightful. I arrived without food, local supermarket only open in Summer so Pavo drove me into Polace to the supermarket there. He came bearing a homemade dessert soon after arrival. Room very comfortable and lots of windows.

Very beautiful appartement in the middle of Pomena only 2 minutes from the ferrydock. 5 minutes from the national park. Clean and with a private balcony with views over the village. There was also a shared terrace we could use (depending on the sun) with views on the sea. The owner was waiting for us on arrival so show us the appartment. And even offered us to brng us with his car to the next town for a supermarket. A great place to stay.

The location was great - 3 mins from the info point and stairs to the lakes (10-15 min walk to the small lake in total). The host was very helpful and although the sofa bed was a bit broken, tried very hard to fix it. He also fixed a water pressure issue while we were there. He also helped us find somewhere to eat when many things were closed. The kitchenette is well stocked, and the fridge is a good size. The balcony is also lovely. Everything seemed very clean.

Do you remember when you used to meet the host and were not greeted by a lockbox? Well, here at Apartments Lorena Mljet, we were greeted by Pavo, we were welcomed and everything was explained. As we were in Pomena in the ‘off- season’ and almost everything was closed, our host, also a taxi driver, drove us to the supermarket in Polače, waited while we shopped and took our groceries back for us. When our scheduled ferry was cancelled, he advised and sorted the problem. He then drove us at 5am to the other end of the island to catch the early morning boat. We have never come across such an obliging host in all the time we have travelled. We were truly impressed and very grateful. The hiking in the National Park is amazing, the apartment was very comfortable and the balcony a welcome addition.

We hadden een geweldig verblijf bij Pavo en Jelena. We waren erg vroeg in het seizoen waardoor de winkel en de meeste restaurants nog dicht waren. Hier waren wij niet op voorbereid, maar Pavo heeft ons naar een andere supermarkt gebracht voor onze boodschappen en Jelena heeft zelfs vers brood voor ons gebakken!

He escorted from the airport to the property. There was an issue with the wifi. He resolved it. I’m happy the balcony sea view was available during my stay. The furniture’s modern- which I liked. All appliances worked well. Comfortable spacious bed, for two persons. Closet space. Extra towels and toilet room in the bedroom closet. They anticipated the needs of their guests. The AC was powerful. Great pressure on the rain fall shower head. Pleasant after a day swimming. The apartment was clean and super comfortable. I loved my stay there.

Super süßes Apartment in toller Lage. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und haben uns absolut wohl gefühlt. Es war wirklich alles da, was man gebraucht hat um sich selber zu versorgen, wobei man die Restaurants in der Nähe definitiv testen sollte. Die Nähe zu den beiden Seen und zum Park ist wirklich unschlagbar. Die Unterkunft und vor allem das Bad sind nicht sehr groß, aber für zwei Personen perfekt um dort ein paar Tage die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Great view! We really were able to relax and enjoy our time in Pomena. The balcony offers a terrific view of all the ships coming in for the day. Lots of restaurants to choose from. The small warm lake is a 5-10 minute walk away. Would definitely stay here again.
