A beautiful villa. It is stylish and clean inside and equipped with everything. The kitchen in particular is well stocked with everything you could need. The location is gorgeous, literally a minute from a beautiful harbour/small beach. We realised our boat trip to the islands picked up from Zaton too, saving a trip to Dubrovnik. Highly recommended!

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. Everything was perfect. The location is ideal, right by the sea with a handful of restaurants and a bakery within walking distance. The outside space was beautiful, we loved the pool, the BBQ and the outside dining area. The garden is surrounded by lush plants and flowers and there is enough space to park a car. The bedrooms were clean and tidy and comfortable. Two have balcony’s with lovely views of the area. We very much appreciated that they were all air conditioned on especially hot days. We were supplied with enough clean towels for our 5 day stay. The kitchen was well equipped and there was a little supermarket 5min walk away. We swam in the sea every day. It’s worth investing in jelly shoes because it’s quite rocky underfoot. The supermarket is quite limited so it’s worth bringing everything you need for the beach with you. From the villa it’s a short taxi ride to the old town or the airport.

Great spot. A block from the sea, lots of comfortable beds, and parking for two cars. This place has all the things you will need. A well equipped kitchen, nice living room and many bedrooms. Loved our stay.

this is a beautiful house in a very tranquil setting. felt right and home and thoroughly enjoyed the house, pool and the little town. just for information, there are church bells that ring starting at 7am, could see that as being important if you have children, etc. There also must have been some miscommunication as the pool cleaner came twice during our stay (only 3 days) and bith times it was unannounced. still very much recommend this house and the small town it is in!

We loved the accommodation and great location. 5min walk to the bay and restaurants we used as a base and walked to local cafe and Uber to get about. Great local restaurant right on the water front. We got the end of the season so some restaurants and shops shutting down for winter.

We had a very good week in the charming village of Zaton Veliki. Nice house that was well equipped. Close to beautiful swimming spots, stone beaches and nature. Pool in the garden which were really good. We got quick help when it needed to be cleaned. Several good restaurants in the village and close to the bus stop to get into Dubrovnik. The only thing that surprised us was the church bell that rang every morning at 7am but it was quite charming!

Beautiful villa, just as described, in a quiet location close to several nice restaurants. Kitchen was very well-equipped and had everything we needed ( apart from an iron which would have been useful). Pool was small but perfect for cooling off. Martina was very responsive when we had a query. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Lovely property, just a few metres from the seafront, restaurants, bars and local shops. Set in a beautiful bay, but only about 5 miles from Dubrovnik. It was ideal for our party of seven, including our three year old grandson, who would have happily have spent the whole week in the pool. For us it was a mix of staying locally in Zaton, combined with trips to Dubrovnik, Mostar and the Kravica Waterfall in Bosnia and a boat trip to the island of Lopud. Martina was great, organising transfers to and from the airport and dealing promptly with any issues as they arose.

I was pleasantly surprised about the location of the house: just around the corner, just a few stepts from the house, you find the see! and some nice restaurants (which were not all open yet, as we were there in the beginning of May before the real start of the season), a beach (with pebbles). The see is amazingly blue, and all those fishes! with a nice 20 minute walk along the sea, you will find a supermarket. The pool was small, but therefor also not cold, and more then enough for our kids. The house was spacious for our company of 8 (of which 2 kids). Lots of things to do in the surroundings (Dubrovnik, renting a boat, visiting Bosnia (go to se ethe waterfalls!!) and Montenegro). we really enjoyed our stay. And when we had questions (we needed to visit a hospital) we received a real quick response from the contact person.

cannot fault the Villa or its location. The whole process of booking, location, door key code was was email or whattsapp. At my age l doubted its reliability but have to say, all went as smooth as silk. During the height of the summer l expect its perfect for tanning, chilling, and keeping cool. communication is essential and Martina never let us down in that regard. Further instructions are inside the Villa for your perusal, just to clear up the minor points. Great stay. Great comms, lovely location.

Zaton is a beautiful location, with lots of different restaurants and pristine sea water for swimming. It is a great location in terms of being away from the really overcrowded Dubrovnik but close enough to do a day trip there. You need a car if staying longer than a week as there is limited things to do once you have done the boat trips (worth doing 3 Islands). Eating out and grocery shopping is very expensive.

From the moment we booked until we departed Martina and team were extremely friendly and responsive. The villa was exactly as advertised times 10! Terrace and pool were well taken care of and maintained with gorgeous gardens! The entire property was immaculate and spacious with a touch of being home from home! Zaton is a slice of peaceful heaven with amazing views and the beautiful Adriatic sea to swim in and just a little bit away from the hussle and bustle of Debrovnik. Can't recommend Villa Pomalo enough and can't wait to come back!

C'était parfait ! Nous étions 2 familles, 4 adultes et 4 enfants. La maison est grande, belle, très bien équipée. La literie est impeccable, la piscine et le jardin tres agréables. Le village de Zaton est également très beau et tranquille, la colline juste derrière très agréable pour se promener. Parfait !

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Pomalo. The house was perfect for our family. The garden with The pool and fruit trees was lovely and swimming in The Ocean’s clear water just outside The House was The best feeling. Zaton veliki is a cute little town but we were there end of season so very quiet and many of The shops/restaurants were closed. The town is filled with cats and The House Also had a cat that was there all The time and a few visitors. Not everyone in our family was a fan of this. Kitchen was fully equipped but a good way to make coffee was missing. There was a machine for pods but we couldnt find pods at any supermarket. And there was a french Press but no grinder so only store bought grounded coffee which is too fine. Overall a Nice House and we would definetely come again. Only reason minus was The neighbours playing loud Music all day/evening and every day.

Great villa 100 yards from the waterfront and wonderful restaurants . The communication was very good and all questions were answered really quickly. The villa itself was really relaxing in a quiet area but close to everything , it has a lovely garden and pool area whilst inside is really spacious and comfortable. What more do you need , would definitely stay again. Zaton Valiki is really quiet but that is what we wanted , nice walks fabulous swimming and snorkeling and at least 3 good restaurants . There were more but we did not try them , Knoba Capo was our favorite and in our opinion the best value .

We had a fab holiday with friends and travelled with 3 children under 4. The villa was great in a really lovely location with a few restaurants and bars on the waters edge. The local shop and restaurant prices were similar to UK. The kids loved the swimming pool which had a big step in it which they could stand on and play and were happy swimming in the deeper part with armbands. They loved the church bells ringing everyday and the small play park next to the church. The villa was great for small children with stair gates, a cot and plastic plates and cutlery but we were told there would be a high chair but there wasn’t which made it difficult to feed our youngest. We contacted the owners but no high chair could be provided. As mentioned on other reviews there are only 2 sun loungers. We were told before the holiday the owner was going to buy more but not sure when! There were a few more sun lounger cushions which we could use on the floor which worked ok. Overall would recommend the villa and the location. We went to Dubrovnik one day which was easy via Uber.
